1990 Grand Banks 49 Motoryacht

location icon Keppel Marina, Singapore
Year 1990
Length 50'6 ft
Builder/Manufacturer American Marine (Singapore)
Price
US$390,000

The perfect live-aboard for a couple or single. Built here in Singapore by American Marine, she is the owners version with plenty of living space with large social aft deck and flybridge. She feels like a 59' instead of a 49' boat.  The owners version layout gives two large cabins with a lot of nice space.  The convertible dinette is down the same level as the galley and the saloon has plenty of seating.  Large outdoor cockpit leads up to the even bigger flybridge.

Extensive work has been done on the machinery and cosmetics by the current owner with not too many engine hours added during the last few years of ownership.  She has been to Phuket and back, up to Tioman and cruised to Bintan/Batam.

August 2017 Update - Asking price has just been dropped to a negotiable USD $390,000 as the owner is keen to sell.

Manufacturer Provided Description

Based on the same hull form as the sea-going Grand Banks 49 Classic, the Grand Banks 49 Motoryacht provides the ultimate in cruising comfort. Increasing the width of the aft cabin house to the hull's beam not only creates an immense owner's stateroom, it also creates an aft-deck lounge area.

The galley-down arrangement provides a very spacious main saloon. This layout has a dinette located across from the galley, making food preparation and serving easy and convenient. With the galley down, there is room for a large stateroom forward featuring twin V-berths, a separate head and shower stall, a hanging locker, and beautifully crafted dresser drawers.

The spacious aft cabin of the 49 Motoryacht especially stands out. Featured is an island king-size bed surrounded by exquisitely built dressers, a desk, a settee and two hanging lockers. There is room for two heads, one with a shower stall, one with a full size bath. All this added space and comfort of the 49 Motoryacht does not detract from its seaworthy, dependable performance.

The more powerful diesels (375hp each engine), confident that the extra speed is available when needed, yet appreciating the economy and comfort of throttling back to hull speed. With 6.5 feet of headroom and the full width of the hull, the engine room has plenty of room for performing routine maintenance and mechanical inspections.

Outside, the flying bridge gives the captain a commanding view and access to full instrumentation at the steering - navigation station. Storage and seating is abundant, and the deck is beautifully finished in teak. Storage deck boxes provide extra seating on the aft deck.
