Boat Asia 2011 made it’s return to Marina at Keppel bay between May 12-15th with Premium Nautical showing a wide range of boats to suit all boating interests and budgets. The star of the show was the stunning Pershing 80, Mantra, which drew admiring looks from all the shows attendees. This model is extremely rare in Asia and with it’s optional twin MTU 2435HP surface piercing drives capable of propelling her at an incredible 50 knots it is a truly a unique piece of engineering.
Also on show was a prime example of the Grand Banks 47 Europa with a wide range of custom enhancements making it one of the best equipped GB 47′s ever produced from the yard just over the border in Malaysia. We were also very pleased to have a newly launched Prestige 51 from Jeanneau showing with a fine Riviera 61 enclosed flybridge.
Clear and fine weather ensured a busy flow of enthusiastic boaters over the weekend looking for their entry into the market or to upgrade their existing craft.
